What we were called in to do
A characterful period building in Motherwell standing tired and empty: generous rooms, deep cornicing and the original staircase all still there, but dated, run-down and earning nothing. The remit was a scheme to bring it back as lettable, multi-suite workspace without losing what makes the building worth keeping.
The work involved
- A full refurbishment scheme for a multi-floor period building
- Period features kept and worked in: cornicing, bay windows, the original staircase
- Reconfiguration into private offices, studios, and consulting rooms
- Dedicated treatment rooms designed for practitioners
- A shared co-working room, communal kitchen, and breakout lounge
- Branded entrance, suite signage, and wayfinding throughout
- New lighting, flooring, services, and decoration end to end
